Legal & immigration analysis
Court, estate and immigration files are matched to partners whose accreditation suits the intended official use, with documented chain of custody maintained from collection to analysis.
Ancestry & lineage reference panels
Ancestry estimates are produced by partners using their own global reference populations and haplogroup panels; reporting depth depends on the panel the analysing partner offers.
Wellness & traits reporting
Lifestyle-oriented trait reports are produced by partner laboratories offering validated wellness panels. These reports are educational and are not a medical diagnosis.
Overseas collection partners
For participants outside Canada, we work with partner collection networks for supervised sampling, and tracked transfer of every sample to the analysing laboratory.

Testing process
How a sample travels from collection to report
Every case follows the same documented pathway, managed by one named coordinator from start to finish.

Coordinator review
A coordinator confirms who is being tested, the right testing pathway, and what the report can and cannot show.

Identity-verified collection
Samples are collected at our Richmond centre or by a coordinated collection partner, with government-issued ID checked where legal use is intended.

Sealed & documented
Samples are sealed in tamper-evident packaging. For legal and immigration files, every handoff is recorded on the chain-of-custody document.

Tracked transfer
The sealed sample is transferred to the analysing laboratory partner by tracked courier, inside Canada or internationally.

Laboratory intake
The laboratory partner checks the sample in under its own quality systems before testing begins.

Analysis at the partner laboratory
DNA analysis is performed by the qualified laboratory partner using procedures appropriate for the selected service.

Report issued by the laboratory
The laboratory partner prepares and issues the report. We do not alter, re-interpret or re-issue laboratory results.

The report is released to your private Client Portal, with a debrief call available on request.
