Who we are
KINORA GENETICS is a DNA testing service and sample collection platform operated by Canadian International Business Development Corp.. We coordinate testing and collection; we do not own or operate a laboratory, and laboratory analysis is performed by qualified, accredited laboratory partners.
Information we collect
Identity and contact details, participant relationships, government-issued identification presented at collection, consent records, appointment details, and case notes required to coordinate your test.
Biological samples collected for the sole purpose of the test you request, together with the sample identifiers used to track them.
How we use it
To confirm eligibility and identity, schedule and perform collection, maintain chain of custody where required, transfer samples to an accredited laboratory partner, release the resulting report to you, and meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
Who we share it with
The accredited laboratory partner performing your analysis, couriers used for tracked transfer, and — where you direct us in writing — a court, authority, or representative you nominate. We do not sell personal information or genetic data, and we do not share it for marketing or research without separate, explicit consent.
Retention and deletion
Case records are retained for the period required by applicable law and professional record-keeping standards. Samples are retained by the analysing laboratory partner in line with that partner's policy and are destroyed thereafter. You may request deletion of your personal information subject to legal retention requirements.
Security
Access to case files and reports is restricted to authorised personnel, samples are sealed in tamper-evident packaging, and reports are released through an access-controlled portal. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your choices
You may withdraw consent before analysis begins, ask for a copy of the personal information we hold, request corrections, or ask how your information has been shared. Contact us using the details below.
