The usual timeline

For a standard case, reports are typically issued 3–7 business days after the accredited laboratory partner receives all samples. The clock starts on receipt at the laboratory, not on the day you book.

What adds time

  • Additional participants or a second alleged father
  • Non-standard samples that need assessment or re-extraction
  • Overseas participants and courier transit
  • Legal or immigration documentation requirements

Why we describe estimates, not promises

Turnaround depends on sample quality and laboratory workload, so we give operational estimates rather than guaranteed dates. If your file has a deadline, tell the coordinator at intake so the case can be planned around it.
