Bring with you
- Government-issued photo identification for each adult donor
- Documentation for any minor being tested
- Any reference or file number from a lawyer, agency or authority
Timing rules
Avoid eating, drinking, smoking or chewing gum for 30 minutes before the appointment. Water is fine.
Who must attend
Every donor named on the order must attend in person for a legal or official test. For minors, a parent or legal guardian must be present to give consent.
What happens on the day
Identity is verified and recorded, consent forms are signed, cheek swabs are taken, and the samples are sealed and labelled in front of you. Most appointments take under 20 minutes.
If someone cannot attend
Contact us in advance. Rescheduling is straightforward; an incomplete collection is not.
