Sample Shipping and Delivery

Clients are responsible for samples and shipments until delivery is confirmed at the designated KINORA location or testing laboratory.

KINORA GENETICS is not responsible for courier delays, loss, customs issues or other shipping events that occur before confirmed receipt.

Clients should use a trackable shipping method and retain their tracking information.

For international shipments, customs clearance and any required shipping documentation remain the responsibility of the sender unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you ship the sample yourself

Use a trackable courier service. Samples remain the sender's responsibility until confirmed received.

Send us the courier name, tracking number and shipping date so your case file can be matched to the incoming package.

Turnaround and shipping

Typical laboratory turnaround begins only after suitable samples are received and accepted by the laboratory. Time in transit is not part of the stated turnaround.

Certain tests, sample types or complex cases may require batch processing, additional review or additional documentation, which may extend turnaround times.

Shipping charges

There is no single universal shipping charge. Shipping is charged according to the actual applicable cost for the destination, carrier and service selected, and is confirmed to you in writing.

Where a collection kit is shipped, kit delivery is charged separately from the testing fee. Prepaid return shipping is optional and available only where the selected carrier and destination allow it.

Where samples are sent

Samples and documents are received at 425 – 6388 No. 3 Road, Richmond, BC, Canada. Do not mail a special or non-standard sample before KINORA GENETICS confirms acceptance and provides handling instructions.
